Hi, I'm Leif Latiff! 👋🏼
Your AI lead. Embedded.
I work inside your business to find and ship AI wins — document AI, workflow automation, system integration. From first audit to running system.
Based in Astana, Kazakhstan — working remote, CET hours.
Currently Applied AI Lead at WellRecall Solutions (energy sector).
Limited availability — book a call to discuss timing.
You know AI should be saving your team hours. But:
- Everyone sells AI. Nobody takes responsibility for it actually working.
- Your team is busy running the business — nobody owns "the AI thing."
- Pilots get planned, then stall. Nothing ships.
Hiring a full-time AI lead takes months and a salary most companies aren't ready for. That gap — between "we should do something with AI" and "we have someone doing it" — is exactly where I work.
Lilian Warutere • Learning Experience Designer
“Learning from Leif was fun and an eye opening experience. I would highly recommend Leif to anyone who needs an experienced guide to help them set up any automations.”
How I work
I join your business as your embedded AI lead, and run a simple cycle.
Find. I audit your workflows and identify where AI pays back — ranked by impact and effort, not by what's trendy.
Build. I design and ship the solution. Working software, not slideware.
Run. I measure results, maintain what's live, and find the next win.
Three ways to start
-
A short audit.
A map of your workflows, a ranked list of AI opportunities, and one quick win implemented so you see results early. Deliverable: an action plan you could hand to anyone.
-
A fixed-scope build.
One chosen win, taken from idea to shipped and measured — with handover documentation and training so your team can run it.
-
An ongoing retainer.
I lead your AI work end-to-end: roadmap, builds, vendor choices, team coaching. This is the model I run today at WellRecall Solutions.
Every engagement starts the same way: a free 30-minute discovery call. We scope it together, then I quote.
The wins I ship
Document AI — turn contracts, records, and archives into searchable, structured data. (Right now: decades of legacy well records at an energy company.)
Workflow automation — remove the repetitive manual steps between the tools your team already uses.
System integration — connect CRMs, databases, and spreadsheets so information stops living in silos.

More on My Work →
Early Career
System engineer (T-Systems, HPE) before all this. Details on LinkedIn.
19+ years: infrastructure → no-code consulting → AI engineering. I've been the infrastructure guy, the consultant, and the builder — which is why I can own AI delivery end-to-end.
FAQ
How is this different from hiring an agency?
Agencies sell projects and hand off. I take a role inside your business and stay accountable for outcomes — including maintenance and adoption.
Do you work with our existing tools?
Yes. I build on what you already have. No rip-and-replace.
Who owns what you build?
You do. Code, data, prompts, documentation — all yours. If we part ways, nothing leaves with me.
What does it cost?
It depends on scope — that's why every engagement starts with a discovery call. I quote after we've sized the work, not before.
What about confidential documents?
Sensitive data can stay on your infrastructure — processing happens locally wherever possible, and I design around what your security rules allow.
